Privacy Policy

The short version
This is the website for SungTech LLC. We keep data collection to a minimum, we don't sell your information, and we only use what you send us to reply to you. Our software runs on your own computer and doesn't send us your work — details below.
Who we are
SungTech LLC builds software and training for creators and communicators. This policy covers this website, sungtech.io. It also covers LiveStream AutoMixer, our Mac app, in the section below.
What we collect
- When you contact us. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to share, so that we can respond.
- Basic server logs. Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard technical information (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site secure and running. We don't use it to identify you.
- That's it. We don't run advertising trackers, and we don't build profiles on visitors.
How we use it
Only to reply to you, to keep the site working and secure, and to understand at a high level how the site is doing. We never sell or rent your information, and we don't share it except with the service providers that help us run the site (such as our hosting and email providers), or where the law requires it.
LiveStream AutoMixer
LiveStream AutoMixer ("LAM") runs entirely on your own Mac. This is the part people ask about most, so here it is plainly:
- Your audio never leaves your computer. All mixing and processing happens locally. We do not receive, record, store, or have any access to your audio — not during a service, not afterward, not ever.
- Logs and diagnostic files stay on your disk. LAM writes health logs, and can optionally record diagnostic data to help track down a problem. These are saved in your own home folder. They are never uploaded. If you want our help with an issue, you choose whether to send them to us.
- No analytics, no tracking. LAM does not report how you use it, what you mix, or when you run it.
- License checks. To confirm your subscription is active, LAM periodically contacts our licensing provider and sends two things: your license key and an identifier for the computer it's installed on. That's all. It sends no audio, no file names, and no personal content. LAM keeps a signed offline license so it continues to work when the internet doesn't.
- Buying a license. Purchases are handled by Link, a Stripe service, acting as merchant of record. They collect the payment and billing details needed to complete the sale; we receive your name, organization, and email so we can issue your license and support you. We never see your card number.
Your choices
You can email us anytime to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We'll do our best to honor reasonable requests promptly.
Changes
If we update this policy, we'll change the "last updated" date above. Continuing to use the site means you accept the current version.
